My cousin has her own challenge on WayBetter, an app that you make “bets” on activities and if you meet the challenge then you split the pot. Her challenge is walking/running 2 miles a day for 3 days a week for 3 weeks. It’s $10 but the first bet (if you are new to waybetter) is covered. Almost 1,000 people have joined this challenge!
The catch? Your mile has to be within an 18 minute mile.
We did our first walk today and we quickly realized yikes. That is fast when you have two tiny children in tow. We did it, and were glad we did. But oof. We need to get back into shape. Again… not as easy with two tiny children in tow!
We had to reward ourselves… with pizza. Baby steps.
